A new online report reveals that the upcoming Nothing smartphone has received certification from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Tipster Sudhanshu Ambore has tipped that the Nothing Phone (2) with model number AIN065 has received BIS certification. The tipster further adds that the company may soon launch the smartphone in India.

Another recent online report revealed that the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. “The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset promises to offer 10% increase in GPU clock speeds and 30% GPU power reduction while the Qualcomm Kryo CPU provides 10% better CPU performance and 30% CPU improved power efficiency. Plus, this platform delivers additional power savings and extended performance across the board—including over 80 minutes longer video streaming and more than 50 minutes longer web browsing,” claims the company.
The Nothing Phone (2) is said to sport an AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to run Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Nothing OS.
The smartphone is tipped to pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone is rumoured to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery.
Nothing Ear (2) launched in India recently
Recently, Nothing launched its latest pair of true wireless earbuds — Nothing Ear (2) in India. Priced at Rs 9,999 The new true wireless earbuds feature an 11mm custom driver, which is claimed to deliver powerful bass and improved overall sound quality. Ear (2) also features Dual Connection, which enables users to switch between two devices.
